Stalking the Pitcher 8" x 8" oil

Ok back to the green GMO apples and the notorious pitcher. I like the top of the pitcher this time - the shape is right. But the handle is off, always something. But one thing I like is the dark background behind the pitcher and salmon colored ground. So I'm going to try it again...sorry if it's getting old.

Tag 6" x 8" oil

I've been wanting to try painting cherries. These were very fun - such a deep red color. And of course the added benefit of eating them when I was done.

Cyclops Turnips 6" x 8" oil

I think these look like si-fi creatures searching for you! I really like the purple color of turnips. Next I have to see how they taste. Any good recipe suggestions?

Apples and Pitcher II 6" x 8" oil

This is my second try with the apples and pitcher at different angles. Still looking for that great composition.

Green Apples 1 8" x 8" oil

I found these gynormous granny smith apples (most likely GMO) and combined them with a white ceramic pitcher I have painted before. I like the salmon colored background and the reflection on the picture from the paper and apples. But that pitcher gives me fits....

Yellow Roses 6" x 8" oil

In the dead of winter I like to have fresh flowers, so last week I bought these incredibly, yellow roses. Just the ticket! Before I tossed out the bouquet I took three heads (roses not human) and painted them. Every time I look at this painting I smile.
